I hosted a group of eleven to celebrate a special friend’s birthday, and the arrangements could not have been better. I was able to choose set menu options in advance for the evening, which obviously saved time and confusion, and Teo (I hope I’ve spelled his name correctly) was superb in serving everyone the correct salad, soup and entree that had been chosen by the guests. The champagne and wine were tops, and the birthday cake/dessert was scrumptious! Highly, highly, highly recommend this delightful restaurant. My friends are still talking and raving about the evening.
This lovely French cottage has been our dinner favorite over the past twenty years. Recent new owner has kept the atmosphere and the traditional menu, plus a few new choices that add to the feeling of a quaint, romantic and tasteful French country inn.
The Staff knows what is necessary for a dinner to be remembered and they do it with expertise that come only from two words, ” They Care”. Make your evening memorable by having an quaint French country meal at our favorite.
Whenever I am in Carmel I go to this bakery to buy their French pastries. They make the best chocolate eclairs ever, hands down! Their coconut cream pie, too, is divine! They also serve decent lunches and dinners. The duck and the fish en papillote are both quite good. We have gone here numerous times for our Anniversary.
We arrived early, but they were able to accommodate us and showed us to a table very quickly. There was a nice array of menu items, all looking very tasty, as well as a nice wine list. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and felt very homey. The four of us each ordered something different and were treated to tasty delights. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing food, but be sure to save room for outstanding deserts! Very attentive but totally unobtrusive service. Very warm, friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The beautiful fireplace is a huge plus in December! We will be back.
Excellent brunch. Food is tasty and not heavy. Service was fast and friendly. Pastries are wonderful. And no, I am not related to them, just a local resident. Only one con… They get busy. Mindfulness is useful.
